Vacation

I'm taking a much needed trip to the east coast. My mom and I are flying from Indy to Baltimore on the 19th then driving down to Chincoteague, Virginia for five nights. On the 24th we are going up to Ocean City, Maryland for a night then driving back to Baltimore and flying home the 25th. I will be reachable by phone during that time but not email.

To make this more blog appropriate I'll tell you my knitting and spinning plans for the trip. I have some Online brand sock yarn, a self striping wool and cotton blend in shades of blue and grey from their "Beaches" line that I'm knitting a pair of simple top down socks with. My other spinning up the yarn for the Morning Surf scarf. I'm plying soysilk with Blue Faced Leicester. The BFL was raised and dyed blue by Donna Joe Copeland of Breezy Manor. The soysilk was Louet's natural soysilk that I spun and then dyed with RIT mostly blue with some purple and green. Since I've already spun the soysilk (about 300 yards) I just need to spin the BFL and ply it. It seems I'm beach and water obsessed with these very blue projects.
