Sarah Knits and Weaves

I finished and washed the CVM. It is plied nicely and put up in a skein to enter at the county fair. 290 yards of lace to fingering weight!

Last night I started spinning some of the purple mohair I bought at my spinners and weavers guild's auction. The single of it was 108 yards and 75 grams, thick stuff. I wasn't sure I could still spin thick, I've been spinning so much sock weight when plied. Today I plied it with sewing thread and silk flowers. I'm hoping to knit a kids hat. I'll take pictures as soon as I get a new camera.

I'm not sure I'll get to spin tomorrow. We'll see, I'm almost running out of fiber. I've done something with all the fiber I have now, and just have left overs.
