Sarah Knits and Weaves

I love handknit socks. I love working on size one needles. You'd think I actually would knit socks. But I'm too wimpy for interesting socks and the ones I can do usually seem too much like endless stockinette for me. Oh well, my feet are cold so I'm going for it.

I went to look through my yarn stash for yummy sock yarn. Somehow I've mostly bought sock yarn in the summer!? So most of my sock yarn is rayon and or cotton blends, some without any wool, some with less than 50%. Really my feet are cold! I did finally find a ball of Opal, which I've never bought or used so I'm not sure exactly how I have it, it's not really "my" colors either, but they're socks it'll do.

I cast on 64 stitches on my new purple wood dpns, and I'm starting.
