NeedlesI've said before that I pretty much am content and able to knit everything I want to knit with four sets of needles. Well yesterday I switched it up. Since I knit my first felted purse I had been using mostly a 24" Addi Turbo circular, US 10.5 or 6.5mm. A very nice needle luckily, based on the price, but it was a bit too slippery sometimes, even though I like that for speed. The downfall was for decreases or color knitting it was sooo dull that I could just barely knit. Yesterday I got a replacement, same size points, but colored wood from knitpicks, and with interchangable cables so it can be 24", 32", or longer. The points work perfectly, the needles warm up in my hand which is amazing in the current Indiana weather. The colors are cute too, purple, green, blue, and orange with purple cables. I also got a ball of knitpicks Cotlin and some size 1 wood colored dpns. Neither have been tried out yet but I'm sure the dpns are stronger than my Clovers. Update on to do list: finished the blanket for Max, the shiny rayon scarf, and am almost finished with the purple and green comission purse.
