To do

Summer starts in two weeks. Here is a list of things I plan to knit and weave.

Finish brown striped bag (almost done)
Finish purple blanket (1/4th done)
Knit messenger bag
Knit bamboo wool socks
Knit Bamboo Silk socks
Spin California Variegated Mutant wool ply as a rag yarn, knit and felt into small bag.
Weave super secret project
Weave two scene weavings
Weave blanket for Maddie's sibling.

Sorry I've been away since spring break

Life just got away from me, and I promise I wasn't out partying like the college student that I am (even living five miles from America's Greatest Party Weekend last week). I have spent most of my time working on coursework or knitting and weaving. I finished three baby blankets and got them passed out, wove a really strange leno scarf that I'm not speaking too, and wrote a few knitting patterns. Last weekend I went to the Fiber Event in Greencastle, IN. Much fun, though I didn't find any more of that awesome sock yarn I bought last year.

Red Bag

Red Bag

This felted bag was knit with Patons Merino and is entirely my own design. The curve of the bottom is based on the heel of a sock. Button is nonfunctional and for decoration only.

Random act of kindness

Anyone who comments on this entry either here or at Livejournal will be entered into a drawing for a needle felted pin, probably of a flower. In the comment tell me what you are looking forward to most about Spring. I certainly would like more colors and inspirations in nature.
